This is Scion, checking back in with some late-breaking news. And this time, I'm totally serious.

First on the agenda is Capcom's release of the arcade Strider to Japanese mobile phones. Strider is just getting ported to everything these days.

He's also gotten a new fangame, courtesy of Jonathan Wallace's efforts here. I contacted Jonathan a while back and offered to mirror his MUGEN fangame here on the LSCM and he took me up on the offer. We could never get everything coordinated, due to various mitigating circumstances beyond our control, but now we've finally managed to get all the files in order, and you can now download his excellent little re-structuring of the arcade version over in the Remote Files section.

Finally, in some tangentially-related Strider news, Strider Island Moralos webmaster Jimi Bueno has taken his first steps into the world of Hong Kong action movies with this fight test video on YouTube. And also this one here. I wish him all the best and several broken appendages, due to it being bad luck to actually wish someone in show business good luck.
