I'm back! And I actually bring news, this time!

Okay, most of you know about the Strider manga that they put out to embellish the NES Strider plotline. It's been floating around on eBay for like...eons now. If you haven't heard of the Strider manga, I suggest you check out my summary of said manga, listed below in my Recon Message Archive.

Anyway...would it surprise anyone to know that this manga was not necessarily the only Strider manga they put out?

I'm not bullshitting anyone. I actually stumbled across scans of a Strider manga that has pages I don't have in mine. And mine's complete.

Do I have everyone's attention, yet?

Good. Go here and tell me whether the fuck I'm just hallucinating or whether that shit is actually real. Because right now, what I see is this: six pages, possibly title pages from when the manga was serialized; one cover scan, with both NES Strider and Arcade Strider screenshots on it; and at two pages of never-before-seen Strider manga at the bottom.

Am I imagining things? Did the Strider community (ha, ha) at large somehow manage to completely overlook an entire manga? Or is there some explanation I'm not seeing?

It can't be a doujinshi. The paper quality's too shitty.

Oh, and while we're on the subject of doujinshi...I'm sure many of you are wondering where the fuck this particular doujinshi came from. I was, myself. Well, I found out that if you'll hop over to Magic Capsule's Strider Room, they've got the exact same picture in their galleries...somewhere. I think they did it themselves, but I can't prove it.

Beyond that, I don't really have anything new. Enjoy the new shit, don't lament the loss of all the old links (c'mon...who actually went to the non-Strider sites I had posted here?), and I'll see you all later!
