Other Resources

Webmasters who run Strider websites tend to be excessively negligent. As a result, some of these references work, some of them work occasionally, and some are forever broken. If there is a broken link on this page, contact Scion and he will correct it as soon as he can.

To use the Japanese sites, try Babel Fish or Google's translate function. Both of these search engines will translate the sites from Japanese into an approximation of English.

If you have a Strider site that you want linked here, don't bother sending us the URL. We'll find you. And if you are so foolhardy as to want to place a backdoor to this database on your own site, use the site banner, which was designed by Bueno, owner of Strider Island Moralos.

Official Sites

Capcom.
http://www.capcom.com/
Come on. You know where this is.

Capcom Japan's Strider Hiryu 1 & 2 Site.
http://www.capcom.co.jp/newproducts/consumer/hiryu12/
One-page advertisement for the 2-disc PSX set.

Capcom Japan's Strider Hiryu 2 Site.
http://www.capcom.co.jp/newproducts/arcade/hiryu2/
One-page advertisement for the arcade game.

English Fan Sites
Strider Island Moralos.
http://strider.cjb.net/
Jimi Bueno's kickass site. The best on the web, bar none.

The Original Strider Island Moralos.
http://www.lscmainframe.net/moralos/
An older version of Jimi Bueno's kickass site. The nostalgia brings a tear to your eye, don't it?

The Moralos Interface.
http://www.runboard.com/bmoralosinterface/
Fan forum for everything Strider. Come join the discussion!

STRIDER-OTAKU.
http://strider.classicgaming.gamespy.com/
Run by Michael Varley. One of the oldest Strider sites on the net (if not the oldest, by virtue of its being hosted at ClassicGaming.com). Isn't updated anymore.

The Blue Dragon
http://www.lscmainframe.net/bluedragon/
It stagnated, it died, I brought it back to life by mirroring it here. You're welcome.

Agrios' Strider Guild.
http://striderguild.8m.com/
This site's decent... except that it hasn't been updated in several years. Seriously. I did figure out how to get my copy of the manga through this site, however. The method I used won't work anymore, so don't get any clever ideas.

The Strider Cypher.
http://stridercypher.bravehost.com/
Run by Neo Guoxiang. Kinda-sorta-not-really a mirror of the LSCM. Basically everything The Strider Cypher has, it got from the LSCM. Can't really fault him for that, though. There isn't a Strider site out there that hasn't borrowed from the others in some way.

Radd Spencer's Cannon Dancer (The Real Strider 2?) Page.
http://mywebpages.comcast.net/raddspencer/cannondancerindex.html
The only English-language Cannon-Dancer page I've ever seen. Originally a review on Gamers.com, now a great (if somewhat simple) website.

Japanese Fan Sites
Burning Force: Strider Honbu.
http://www.bekkoame.ne.jp/ha/kouji-s/hiryuu.htm
A Japanese-language site run by Kouji Sasamoto. Well worth the look around. This guy can draw like you wouldn't believe, and he's got information on almost every piece of Strider merchandise that ever existed.

Hell Fire Club.
http://murase.hell-fire.com/
Also in Japanese. I wish I could figure out this guy's Javascript.

Magic Capsule's Strider Room.
http://nkj.sub.jp/mc/hiryu/
Again, in Japanese. Nicely designed, has some good fanart.

2048.Winter
http://taira-s.hp.infoseek.co.jp/
I don't know much about the author of this site. You judge for yourself.

Befis' Strider Arcade Game Site.
http://www.purose.net/befis/game/hiryu/hiryu1/
A no-frills Japanese site devoted solely to the Strider video games.

Capcom Design Works Gallery.
http://www.sftchina.com/gallery/Capcom_Design_Works/
Don't have the money to buy the Capcom Design Works book? Loser. Go here instead.

Strider Hiryu Webring.
http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown-Domino/6289/ring.html
A webring of English and Japanese Strider sites.

Fan Site Graveyard
S. Kirisima's Strider Hien Shrine
http://aomori.cool.ne.jp/s_kirisima/game/strider/
A Japanese-language site run by someone with entirely too much time on his hands. He had theories and diagrams on all kinds of stuff, like how cyphers work. Also had some decent fanart.

Strider Squad X.
http://www.ssx.cc/
This site disappeared and reappeared at random until one day, it disappeared completely. It wasn't not a completely Strider-oriented site, but it was definitely Strider-themed. This guy's layout was so good, it made me want to break his hands.

Cipher {the Strider (series) Fanlisting}
http://pika.hinasaki.net/fanlistings/strider/
A directory of Strider otaku and their websites.

Strider: Body Weapon.
http://www.bodyweapon.tk/
The official site for the no-longer-in-development MUGEN Strider game.

The Strider Zone.
http://members.aol.com/danmandx/newzone.htm
http://cybermillenia.com/strider/
Neostrider, why? Why'd you tease us by coming back, only to leave again?

[mezzanine] NES Strider Page.
http://members.comm-plus.net/lcracker/strider/
The original NES Strider page.

The Strider Project.
http://www.crosswinds.net/~genjuro/strider/
A promising Strider page that died before it even caught on.

Strider Cypher
http://ninjaraion.tripod.com/
Had some good Strider fanart, back in the day.

Strider: Legends - The Origins of the Super-Ninja Clan
http://www.geocities.com/Strider_Legends/
The only English-language Strider fanfiction site I've ever found. It sucked.

Takoken.
http://www17.big.or.jp/~marsh/takoken/game/
Once again, a Japanese site. I didn't know the name of this one, but its author sure could draw some great doujinshi. Now, if only I could've read Japanese fluently...

Strider Hiryu Fan Club.
http://www04.u-page.so-net.ne.jp/xf6/mikuro/hiryu.fc.top.html
This site is dead. Completely dead. Deader than Mezzanine. BUT, it was a good example of how a Strider fan club should look, so I'm really sad it's gone.

The Strider Army.
http://www.angelfire.com/ny/Striderarmy/
Founded by Strider Trav. I hated these guys. I'm glad to see them gone.

Strider Heaven.
http://www.angelfire.com/ny/striderheaven/index.html
Ha, ha. More like Strider hell. This site was pure, utter, unadulterated crap, run by Strider Trav of the Strider Army.

Delusion Area.
http://www.gardencity.or.jp/~akinpo/
Aside from being the guy who did the manga preview on Agrios' site, this guy gave me his copy of the manga. Gave it to me. I'll never forget that.
