This is the latest (and most say last) installment of Capcom's VS. series of fighters. It too features Hiryu, but unlike the previous one, it is not based on any comic series.

In fact, the story for this game can be summed up in about three lines. Here goes.

The Earth is dying and Ruby Heart (an original character created just for this game) is trying to figure out why. She traces the blight back to an evil being known as Abyss and summons the greatest heroes to fight him. They do, and in due course discover that Abyss' power source is an orb he possesses, marking a clear objective for all the Marvel and Capcom heroes Ruby Heart has summoned.

Yeah.

I honestly think that Marvel vs. Capcom was better than this game. But who am I to judge? I suck at both of them.
